- Troubled economic times mean daily dealing with the sobering reality of people's debt from credit cards, foreclosures and evictions. My goal is to handle these cases and all cases within the law, but with fairness and compassion
JP #4 is a people's court where more often than not citizens can present their compliants to the court without the representation of an attorney
I am pro life in all its forms, theduties of this office include vital statistics, i.e., birth certificates, death certificates and performing marriages
Work with law enforcement as an accessible Magistrate, my background is law enforcement, I understand the requirements for warrants, but I also know that according to the Texas Constitution and law, a magistrate should stand between a person arrested without a warrant and thejail house door.
Future
- Continue working closely with the 42 public schools in this precinct to abate disruptive behavior and failure to attend school
Continue to hold training sessions for school attendance personnel
Maintain an innovative and informative JP Precinct #4 web site
Carry on with my goal to use the JP position to change juvenile's behavior and problems with alcohol, tobacco and other chemicals.I can't save them all, but with your help, we can make all the difference in some.
I believe I can continue to be a positive influence, and that is why I seek your vote for a second term.
